STRATEGIC GRANTS
NOW OPEN! See below for 2026 funding information.
Our Strategic Grants are our largest source of funding and support community-rooted efforts that address the upstream causes of chronic disease and build the conditions for everyone to thrive. We prioritize organizations working alongside communities most impacted by health inequities and trust our Community Grantmaking Committee to lead the direction of the program. This community-led body holds decision-making power over funding priorities, the application and grantmaking process, and final grant recommendations. In 2025, the Committee prioritized funding for organizations led by and serving immigrant families impacted by ICE activity and LGBTQ+ communities facing increased discrimination and harm.
In early 2026, the Committee came together again and chose to continue prioritizing funding for immigrant-led and immigrant-serving organizations. At this time, Strategic Grants are invite only as we continue building toward a fully participatory grantmaking model shaped directly by community voices.
